I long for the lover of another heart
My symphatic soul, to come to my side
So we may be together forever
in faith, in compassion, for all our times
I see her visage, in my dreams at night
she beckons me; "Come Hither", by starlight
her hair flows silver, her skin crystalline
eyes whispering of azure locked on mine
A sheer beauty radiates from her soul,
I'm trapped forever in the harness of her glow
And my dreams, I pray they will never end
or my angel rings true, my heart she mends
I will wait until my epochal dove
brings me the gift of sweetness and love.

An older piece from my junior year in HS. A girl in my class named Crystal wanted me to write a sonnet for her (because she heard I do them) so I did this in about 10 minutes for her.
It's not a tradtional verse though. My own making. |
